The waste emergency that is gripping the Sicilian municipalities has not spared Scicli either. Two days ago, or since my team and I took office, right from the start, we took action to face this situation we found and take all possible actions.
The criticalities that have determined this emergency are linked to the landfill and not to the collection, specifically only as regards undifferentiated.
Today, the operators of the Tech company have started the gradual withdrawal of the undifferentiated waste present in our territory. Considering that the problem concerns landfills, at this stage the conferment is in fact rationed.
My team and I will update you on any news, in the meantime we invite citizens to differentiate as much as possible and not to abandon the undifferentiated indiscriminately.
The separate collection will proceed routinely (including the collection of diapers).
