Paxton already holds Dauphin County and Region 4 titles. Now the American Legion baseball crew is looking for a trip back to the Mid-Atlantic Regional.
Manager John Mazzolla’s team open Saturday’s state tournament against Norchester at the ALB’s epicenter in Pennsylvania, Bear Stadium in Boyertown.
First pitch against the Region 4 champions is at 4:05 p.m., two Mid-Atlantic spots up for grabs in the eight-team field. The Norchester Bulldogs defeated Paxton 4-3 in last year’s state championship game.
