Today is the start of the 55e Final of the Quebec Games.

102 athletes from Chaudière-Appalaches are leaving today for Laval and will be there until July 26 to compete in athletics, baseball, basketball, road cycling, swimming and beach volleyball. Athletes from other disciplines will be there from July 26 to 30.

It is a young Lévisien, Médéric Fortin, 13 years old who will be the flag bearer of the delegation during the opening ceremony of the games. The athlete, who won the Regional Cross-Country Skiing Games in the winter of 2022, will be in both competition blocks, in road cycling in block 1 and in mountain biking in block 2.

I was surprised when I learned that. I am proud to participate in the Quebec Games. My father has already participated. I can’t wait to see what the competitions will look like
