The “Canada Para Badminton International 2022” is one of the most important sporting events in the specialty and Pilar Jáuregui from Puno has established herself among the best para badminton players on the planet, with a view to the next World Cup, which will be in October.
Located in 2nd place in the world parabadminton ranking for the WH2 category, Pilar thus added her seventh international medal of the year, after winning three gold medals in Brazil, last May, and three silver medals in Spain, in February..
Pilar Jáuregui has her sights set on a possible trip to Dubai for another international competition that will give her points for the World Cup.
“In August I will go to Thailand and Indonesia, where there are strong levels. There is also the Pan American Games in November, and I am already thinking about the score for the Parapan American Games in Santiago de Chile 2023”, said Jáuregui, who is Pluspetrol’s sports ambassador.
The athlete thanked Pluspetrol on her social networks, a company that has supported her for two years, in all her competitions.
The Peruvian Sports Federation of Badminton also awarded, in January 2022, Pilar Jáuregui as the “Best Female Parabadminton Player of 2020 and 2021 in the country in her WH2 category”.
