Entrusting the management of certain sites during the Games to operators who are used to them and who know the workings perfectly, in particular because they operate them all year round, was a fine and innovative idea. “It was quite pragmatic: we had mostly existing sites, with people who operate them on a daily basis, why not work with them to deliver the Games? explains Étienne Thobois, the general manager of Paris 2024.
