Preparation. The Panama U12 Baseball Team was finally able to get out of quarantine, and has already carried out its first training session ahead of its debut in the VI World Championship of this category that will take place in the city of Tainan, Taiwan.
“We had the opportunity to leave the hotel, we fulfilled our three-day quarantine and we had to train, do our batting routine, fielding, the pitchers let go of their arms and there was some physics,” said the technical director, Manuel Rodríguez.
While the pitching coach, Elpidio Pinto, managed to work with the boys so that they can reach the top for their first game tomorrow against Chinese Taipei.
‘We worked on the control of the shots, a lot of emphasis was placed on the location, specific shots were requested trying to find that confidence that we need for the games,’ said Elpidio Pinto.
A total of 18 players participated in this training.
