The Girona-based driver, Àlex Palou, will finish the season with Chip Ganassi Racing before moving to McLaren, for which he will initially compete in 2023 in the Indy Car and with whom he dreams of making the leap to Formula 1 the following season. The signing by McLaren was rarefied as his CGR team announced the renewal of Palou and the driver criticized him in a statement. Thus, everything seems to indicate that Palou will race for McLaren in the Indy in 2023 and combine it with Formula 1 testing.
