The official Nike account set the networks on fire in a failed attempt to promote Barcelona’s away kit. The text read: “With the second shirt, Barça will always carry their home in their hearts, no matter where they are.”

The Blaugrana away kit is a tribute to the 1992 Olympic Games held in the city. The Community Manager of the Nike account, however, did not realize that the promotion of the first kit of the Parisian club for the coming season was ‘sneaked’. As expected, user reactions were not long in coming. In spite of the removal of the tweet after a few minutesit did not take long to go viral and generate countless reactions.
