Royal Antwerp FC is aiming high on the transfer market. Guus Til opted for PSV, but Vincent Janssen was brought in and Toby Alderweireld is still an option. Marc Overmars also knocked on the door of Bayern Munich again.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Antwerp has its eye on Omar Richards. The 22-year-old left-back, however, costs 12 million euros for the time being and that is even a bit expensive for Antwerp and it is still coffee grounds for the time being to see whether Bayern is willing to lend the Brit. Antwerp previously managed to remove Christopher Scott from Bayern Munich, where Mark van Bommel still has many contacts as an ex-player.
LOOKING FOR LEFT BACK
The German champions took Richards away from Reading on a free transfer a year ago. He was allowed to show up 17 times for Bayern, but in total he only played 575 minutes. Bayern want to let the player go, but then money has to be put on the table. Antwerp is also looking around for other left backs for the time being, because Sam Vines was never able to convince.
