NBA: The Raptors admit defeat against the Bulls in the NBA Summer League

Despite a fine 18-point performance from Dalano Barton, the young Toronto Raptors prospects lost 93-83 to the Chicago Bulls in an NBA Summer League game.

Barton, the Raptors’ second-round pick in 2021, was particularly effective in the first quarter, scoring 12 of his team’s 19 points early in the game. Jeff Dowtin also did well for the Raptors with a 16-point performance. Only one other Toronto player was able to score at least 10 points.

It was quite the opposite for the attack of the young Bulls, while five players reached ten points. Carlik Jones led the Bulls with 17.

The Raptors return to action Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz.
