NBA: Miles Bridges formally charged with domestic violence

Miles Bridges, a compensated free agent for the Charlotte Hornets, has been formally charged with domestic violence and child abuse following an assault on his partner Mychelle Johnson. The attack would have occurred last June in Los Angeles and it is the office of the prosecutor of the city of Los Angeles which made the announcement.

The 24-year-old Bridges was arrested on June 29 for domestic violence leading to injury according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The incident reportedly occurred two days earlier. Bridges was freed from jail by posting $135,000 bail.

According to the charges against the Hornets player, Bridges allegedly assaulted his wife in front of the couple’s two children.
