According to the always well informed Marc Steinthrough his website ‘The Stein Line’, LeBron James he would have declared that he is very happy to play for the Lakers and although his contract is about to expire it does not seem like there can be a sudden change of direction.
It is not new that the player has repeatedly expressed the desire to spend the last years of his career sharing the parquet with his son. Bronny James – eligible for the 2024 Draft – and not necessarily in Los Angeles, as he himself declared.
“My senior year will be played with my son. Wherever Bronny is, that’s where I’ll be. I would do anything to play with my son for a year. It’s not about the money at that point. “
What possible scenario?
LeBron is currently expiring his contract in June 2023 and would have the option to sign an annual renewal from 46.7 million dollars or even a maximum of two years with a player-option. The NBA rules prohibit players over the age of 38 – the age James will turn in December – from signing a two-year two-season contract. From next Thursday, August 4th, the player will become eligible to receive the new contract from Los Angeles.
Bronny James is a player and student at Sierra Canyon High School and only last February had he signed a million-dollar deal with the clothing brand PSD.
