Gabriel Gutiérrez, from Aviles, at the wheel of a Tatuus F3000 single-seater, won yesterday the Faya los Lobos climb, a scoring event for the Asturias Mountain Championship and which, organized by Nalón Auto Sport, was celebrating its thirty-first edition.
Gutiérrez only lost the first position to Adrián Artidiello (Silver Car S2) in practice. From there, the avilesino was unattainable. He set the fastest time on the first two official climbs and retired on the third due to a breakdown. Second on the podium was Artidiello, who won the third official race, and third was Jesús Alvarez with another Silver Car S2.
In touring cars, victory for Alberto Ordóñez with the rebuilt VW Polo N5, followed by Hugo Martínez, with Seat Leon Supercopa and occupying third place, César Palacio, with the 208 R4.
