León, Guanajuato, July 12, 2022. More than 1,000 athletes visited the municipality of León, Guanajuato, to compete in the “National Business Games 2022”.

Within the tourism promotion strategy, the Government of the State of Guanajuato, through the Ministry of Tourism, promotes the Sports Tourism segment, which has taken on a boom and positioning in the entity.

In this second edition of the Games of the Mexican Federation of Business Sports (FEMDE), which promotes health and well-being through sports in companies, 1,011 athletes from 72 companies in the Mexican Republic participated, who from July 7 to 10 demonstrated high performance, dedication and passion in disciplines such as athletics, basketball, swimming, cycling, chess, archery, bowling, darts, dominoes, golf, petanque, baseball, soccer, tennis, squash, volleyball, tochito, bridge, karting, archery , rugby and badminton.

The sports segment has boomed and positioned itself in the state of Guanajuato, a destination that hosts important regional, state, national and international events that makes visitors and tourists live great stories.

The diversity in attractions, segments and tourist destinations make visits to the state of total interest to tourists. Business games, in addition to benefiting company employees, are beneficial for Guanajuatenses.
