More than 700 visitors at the children’s sports festival in Königslutter

The children’s sports festival on the plantation is proving to be a complete success – the stage program and hands-on games ensure a good mood

In the past two years, the children’s sports day could not take place due to the pandemic, but now the TSG Koenigslutter and the TSV Lelm the popular event back on its feet. Numerous children and families gathered at the sports facility on the plantation in Königslutter to celebrate a festival together.

“More than 700 visitors came to Königslutter, young and old had fun, there was something for everyone,” explained Christian Schöndube, head of organization.

The event was opened on the main stage by Schöndube and the guests of honor Alex Hoppe, Marc Schneider, Jürgen Nitschke and Volker Meyer. “Then there was something on stage all day long,” says the organizer. In front of an enthusiastic audience, the formations Tanzengel, Wildkatzen, Lollipops, Tanzzwerge and Tanztiger danced their way into the hearts of the audience.


Fun and games were the order of the day on the sports field: there was a great rush for the two bouncy castles, the giant slide, the climbing tower, the human table football, duck fishing and the various hands-on games as well as the mini sports badge.

But the visitors didn’t just have fun at the sports facility: in the sports halls, the TSGK departments Arnis, badminton, judo and table tennis offered numerous activities to get involved.

“An all-round beautiful day, which even the downpour in the afternoon couldn’t spoil,” summarized Christian Schöndube, who added: “A heartfelt thank you goes to the Child Protection Association, which made this day possible with funding.” He also thanked the other sponsors Lions Club as well as Sport-Thieme and the “50 helpers in the background and on site”, who helped diligently with the planning, construction and implementation.
