More than 300 young people, aged between 7 and 16, will be able to enjoy this summer the camps organized by the Palencia Provincial Council Sports Service in Roquetas de Mar, Sierra de Cazorla and Cantabria.

The program offers new leisure and sports experiences to the participants, and favors the conciliation of family life during the summer season. The camps will be held between July 4 and 24

For the Maritime Camp in Aguadulce (Roquetas de Mar) 150 young people between 12 and 16 years old have been called, who will enjoy the impressive beaches of the area in two shifts. The first of them, from the 4th to the 13th of July, and the second, from the 13th, with departure on the 12th at night, to the 22nd of July. Participants will stay in air-conditioned bungalows that are located within facilities equipped with swimming pools, sports courts, athletics track, climbing wall and large green areas, located on the same promenade and with direct access to Aguadulce beach.

In this camp, the nautical activities stand out, such as initiation to sailing, canoes, paddle-surfing, skimming, snorkeling, pedal boats or waterball. There will also be several motorized water activities and other sports and multi-adventure activities such as archery and climbing will be practiced. The program will be completed with a visit to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park with a kayak tour, a day at the Roquetas de Mar water park and an excursion to the city of Granada.

The residential complex ‘El Paraíso de Bujaraiza’, located in the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park, will be the place where 75 people from Palencia from 10 to 15 years old will stay, between July 4 and 13.

The complex is made up of spacious rooms with their own bathroom, and has, in addition to two swimming pools and various sports facilities, a vast green area where the campers will be in constant contact with nature.

They will be able to carry out, among others, the following activities: canoeing, big surfing, archery, Tibetan bridges and climbing, giant zip lines, swimming in natural pools or night parties. This year, as a novelty, you can practice rafting and canyoning. They will also be able to enjoy contemplating the animals of the Wild Fauna Hunting Park a few meters away.

Meanwhile, the Multiadventure Camp in Entrambasaguas (Cantabria) is aimed at younger children, from 7 to 10 years old, will take place from July 18 to 24, with 100 places. The participants will stay at the “Max” hostel, an idyllic place, as it is close to numerous beaches, but away from the hustle and bustle of those dates in Cantabria.

The spacious enclosure has a swimming pool, game rooms, large green areas and its own jetty for canoeing.

Activities such as canoeing, surfing, hiking, sports Olympics and workshops related to nature have been scheduled for this camp. You will enjoy a visit to Santillana del Mar and discover the replica of the Altamira Caves. There will also be a space to enjoy the Cantabrian beaches, such as Comillas, Laredo beach, El Sardinero and La Magdalena in Santander.
