2K announced today that Michael Jordan14-time NBA All-Star, five-time NBA MVP, six-time NBA Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, will appear on the Michael Jordan Edition and in the ultra-premium Championship Edition of NBA® 2K23

In the twenty-fourth installment of NBA 2K, Jordan is the perfect embodiment of this year’s campaign tagline: Answer the Call. As an athlete who always rose to the occasion, Jordan returns to star on two covers of NBA 2K23offering fans new and old the chance to celebrate a talent who has left the world in awe throughout his career.

Along with the return of Michael Jordan to grace the covers of NBA 2K23, the game will also reintroduce The Jordan Challenges, which challenge players to recreate 15 iconic moments from Jordan’s illustrious career. The original ten challenges of NBA 2K11 They have been completely recreated from the ground up and will return this year, along with five new iconic Jordan moments, for a new generation of players to experience. These challenges take advantage of over a decade of technological advances to offer an entirely new way to play through Jordan’s achievements, all within a standalone game mode.
The Jordan Challenges also include riveting performances from his college, NBA, and US Basketball careers that players can experience in all 15 challenges, as well as unique video pieces with special commentary from various personalities from around the world. the NBA: Jordan’s teammates, opponents, and other sports personalities who witnessed his exploits and can bring his legacy to life for a younger generation of NBA fans.
