Mara Camila Osorio has slammed the door thinking about facing the US Open this season. The Colombian is finalizing details to start the North American tour on the way to the Grand Slam and announced on her networks that she is changing coach.
The Spaniard Ricardo Sánchez will no longer be the coach of the Colombian and thus she “closes a cycle” in which she had a great relationship with her coach, being the WTA Bogota champion in 2021, in addition to her presence at the Grand Slams where she had the third round of Wimbledon 2021 as her best result.
“I am already in the United States finishing my preparation for the tour prior to the US Open. I take this opportunity to thank Ricardo Sánchez for two very positive years in my career. Certain this cycle wishing him the best for the future … I hope from the hand of God to continue forward and give the best for what is to come, “said Osorio in networks.
For now it is not known who will be Camila Osorio’s new coach, while the Spaniard Ricardo Sánchez continues to work with the Colombian Daniel Galán.
