Major League Baseball and MGM Strengthen Historic Partnership

MGM Resorts International and Major League Baseball announced a renewal and expansion of the “historic partnership” that saw the league’s first sponsor become the first game sponsor in 2018.

Under the terms of the expanded alliance, the casino and entertainment provider will also retain its status as a sportsbook partner and will market its brand and gaming options domestically across a variety of league and team platforms

BetMGM will continue to be recognized as an MLB Authorized Gaming Operator and will use Official Stats in both the digital and live sports betting options on a non-exclusive basis.

The partnership between BetMGM and MLB includes sports betting data usage, advertising through MLB-owned media platforms, national and international activation events, multiple fan experiences and a presenting sponsorship of the digital baseball show Bettor’s Eye on MLB.TV.

In addition, MGM’s loyalty program will be the title sponsor of this year’s All-Star Celebrity Softball Game and the presenting sponsor of the first All-Star Saturday Extra Innings at Dodger Stadium.

MLB, MGM and BetMGM will continue to work together to protect the integrity of the game, both on and off the field.
