James Maddison, 25, made 35 appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists. In the goal line, only striker Jamie Vardy was ahead of him, only Harvey Barnes in passing. Leicester finished the season in eighth place.
“Newcastle” put 40 million pounds on the table for Madison, but the offer was rejected. Sky Sports reports that “Leicester City” wants to receive around 60 million for the attacking midfielder.
Maddison moved to Leicester in 2018, when he was bought from Norwich City for 20 million. Two years ago, he extended his contract for two more seasons.
