Juhann Begarin and Kenneth Lofton Jr. got hot

Summer work is officially over for eighteen of the NBA’s thirty franchises. Nine games last night, six in a few hours and so we can move on to other things at night, maybe even this madness that starts with dor and which ends with mir. Chick? Come on, and even if it was more towards the Drew League that the cursor was heading last night, we quickly recap this penultimate evening in Las Vegas.

The results of the night:

Hawks – Cavs : next step, Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. Waiting ? Tyrese Martin, Tyson Etienne, Chris Clemons and Chaundee Brown were good for the Hawks but the Cavs of bro Isaiah Mobley, mullet Luke Travers and RJ Nembhard Jr. ended up winning by four points. Joel Ayayi played fourteen minutes but did not confirm his last two great outings.

Magic – Pistons : next step, Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. Last night ? The main cracks of the 2022 vintage were still absent, and if for the Magic it was Justin James who tried to imagine that he was an NBA player, opposite it is the undrafted rookie from UCLA Jules Bernard who once again surprised and detonated – we do this one all the time – with a 22/9/3 at almost 100% in shooting off the bench. Mention also to these gentlemen Stanley Umude, Charlie Moore and Braxton Key, but we will especially remember that in Detroit it was a guy who is called like your class representative in 5th B who ignited the end of SL of the Pistons.

Hornets – Wolves : next step, LaMelo ball, Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. Tonight ? In Charlotte the rookies Mark Williams and Bryce McGowens were discreet and this time it was the sophomore JT Thor who took for LeBron with a small 28/3/2/5 to 9/14 in shooting, insufficient however to offer the win to Charlotte against Minnesota. For the Wolves the freshly signed for four years Josh Minott was good and slammed the counter of the win at the buzzer, as did Matt Lewis and the rookies Kevon Harris and Wendell Moore Jr., even if the former Dukie unscrewed a little from the car park.

Grizzlies – Spurs : next step, Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Keldon Johnson and Gregg Popovich, maybe. So far the kids from Memphis and San Antonio had us rather enthusiastic, and confirmation this night with the perf, in particular, of Kenneth Lofton Jr., author for the Grizzous of a 27/12/3/1/2 at 10/ 16 in shooting which draws a magnificent line on a Summer League which will have been so throughout for him. Two-way contract in hand, we’ll see you Big Baby 2.0 again. The other two rookies Kennedy Chandler and David Roddy were also solid, Jake LaRavia and Ziaire Williams had nothing to prove on this kind of match and the little Ronaldo Segu once again made the public shiver, it could become a habit every summer. For the Spurs? DJ Stewart Jr. and crackito Malaki Branham tried to hide the clumsiness of Blake Wesley (2/17 shooting), Spurs victory but we hope that the collection of sausages sent by Wesley will not push Pop to retire on Monday .

Bulls – Sixers : next step, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, James Harden and Joel Embiid the Gaul. The Bulls punctuated their July competition last night with a fourth victory in five games, which already places them at the top of a ranking that does not exist. We do not change leaders who lead and we therefore counted once again on the new pearl of Montenegro Marko Simonovic (26 points and 8 rebounds at 11/15 shooting) and on the duo of Hall Of Famers composed of Malcolm Hill and Carlick Jones. Sindarius Thornwell and Jean-Jacques Freeman-Liberty pounded from the bench, my stomach hurts, Makur Maker will soon have a better career than his brother Thon, while for the Sixers Filip Petrusev, Charlie Brown and Trevelin Queen limited the broken.

Nets – Celtics : next step, guys, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Malcolm Brogdon. A few hours ago? Privates Cam Thomas, Kessler Edwards, David Duke Jr. and Day’Ron Sharpe were once again the leaders for Brooklyn, and Yves Pons did not play for the latter. But the news of the night is obviously the superb conclusion written by Juhann Begarin, he who was very prominent all week and who had decided to make dessert against the Nets himself. 25/7/3/3 to 9/17 in shooting including 3/6 from the parking lot, the friends Kabengele and Davison who also provide, and therefore the national pride of saying that the best Celtics player in this Summer League is perhaps to be French. Will all of this open doors for him this season? Probably not. Could these doors still open in the short term? There’s a big chance. Ah yes, and we pronounce Begard-Un.

Rockets – Kings : next step, Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr., De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis. We were waiting for this match with a firm footing because it announced the clash between two top players of the 2022 vintage, but unfortunately Jabari Smith Jr. will not have had the honor of meeting El Crackitinho Keegan Murray, released from his obligations after a Summer League gorgeous. Suddenly JSJ went there with his double-double by pulling the face (12 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks at 4/15 shooting), and it is once again the duo Tari Eason / Ty-Ty Washington Jr . who released great promises to the Texas franchise. Victory all the same for the Kings thanks to a team in which we knew absolutely none of the guys, except Jeriah Horne and his 20 pawns off the bench, and it may be that the end of this sentence is a lie.

Lakers – Mavericks : next step, LeBron James, guys, Luka Doncic, Christian Wood. New victory for the Lakers and once again a big-up for son Pippen, who seems to have definitely won his stripes in Los Angeles, between the G League group and that of the NBA. Cole Swider chained from the parking lot and slammed a big tomar, Shareef O’Neal was discreet but good, and opposite the Mavs lost their fifth game in as many games, a bit like this ripped off guy who can’t even manage to make a point in a consoling contest. AJ Lawson and Moses Wright limited the catastrophy and Jaden Hardy almost went over 50% in shooting but be careful, it was a question of staying empty and Dallas did it very well. Great competition.

Heat – Clippers : next step, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The main news of the night? She comes from the offices since the planes sent by Javonte Smart during the Summer League therefore cost her a kick in the buttocks and a hasty departure from Vegas. Ditto for Mychal Mulder and his game at the borders of reality, valve of thirty, and facing the Clippers this night it was the surprise guests Dru Smith and Kyle Allman Jr. who did most of the work in the absence of the “leaders” usual. For the Clippers Moussa Diabaté did not play and the Scrubbs / Moon / Perry / Reynolds quartet is not the cast of the next Very Bad Trip but the one who carried the Sailboats to… defeat. I can not wait for the vacation.
