Barbara Matic from Bundesliga club JSV Speyer won the Grand Prix in her Croatian hometown of Zagreb. She won in the weight class up to 70 kilograms. Mascha Ballhaus from the squad took fifth place up to 52 kilos.
Up to 57 kg Jana Ziegler and Julia Kowalczyk (Poland) were eliminated after winning and losing. Ambers Gersjes from the Netherlands (- 48), Nadja Bazynski (- 63) and Teresa Zenker (- 78) lost their first fights.
