Juárez.- Juan Carlos Muñiz Cano, the leading winger of the Ciudad Juárez Wild team, was called up to play for the U16 National Basketball Team.
Muñiz Cano has been playing in the state and macro-regional tournaments, which is why he was placed for his great performance to belong to the Mexico team in the next CentroBasket games in Central America 2022.
The also student of the College of Bachelors Plantel 6, said that they saw his sports qualities to be summoned.
“My strength is defense and my attitude, I consider myself a strong and very physical player,” said the 16-year-old.
He assured that when ADEMEBA Chihuahua sent him the confirmation of being part of the U16 National Basketball Team, he was very happy so that later as a family he went out to celebrate as one team.
“My participation in nationals was good and the truth is that I feel quite excited,” concluded the young basketball player.
It will be from August 9 to 19 that the Juarense will concentrate in Tepic, Nayarit, and then travel to Central America with the representation of Mexico.
