Jonas retires from the Czech Grand Prix in the second race

In Saturday’s qualifying race, Jonas won fifth place, but in the first race, after an unfortunate fall near the start, he took 12th place.

Also in the opening of the second race, Jonas suffered a fall and then retired.

Frenchman Maxime Renault was fastest in the second race, while Jeremy Sievers of Switzerland was second, and Slovenian Tim Gajser rounded out the top three.

Siever won the stage with 47 points, followed by Reno with 45 points, while Geiser was third with 42 points. Jonas earned nine points in the first race, which allowed him to finish the stage in 16th position.

In the overall standings after 13 stages, Gajser is still the undisputed leader, having accumulated 577 points. Sievers is in second place with 452 points, while Spain’s Jorge Prado has 442 points. Jonas is in seventh place with 287 points.

This season, the world championship has 20 rounds.
