JD Martínez, Garrett Cooper and Carlos Rodón enter the All-Star Game as replacements

THE ANGELS._ Major League Baseball announced Tuesday three replacements on the roster of the All-Star Game del 2022.

In the american leaguethe designated hitter of the Red Sox, JD Martinez, take the place of the injured Yordan Alvarez of the Astros. It is the fifth call to the All-Star Game in the career of Martínez, who was in second place on the “Players’ Ballot” behind the Cuban.

In the National Leaguethe designated hitter of the Marlins, Garrett Cooperwill replace the injured Bryce Harper of the Phillieswhile the thrower of the Giants, Carlos Rodón, will go to the event instead of the flamethrower of the Brewers Josh Hader who is on the permit list.

Cooper, who placed second among DHs in the “Player’s Ticket”will attend his first All-Star Game, while Rodón will do so for the second time in his career.
