Javi Vega adds his third season as orange

Club Básquet Coruña SAD announces the renewal of Javi Vega (2.05m) as a player on the LEB Oro team. The 34-year-old power forward from Madrid will continue one more season as part of the Leyma Coruña discipline, where he arrived after his successful 5-year spell at San Pablo Burgos, the team with which he rose from Leb Oro to ACB in 2016/17 and contributed decisively to his consolidation in the highest category of Spanish basketball

After two seasons with the team, Javi renews his commitment to our club and the fans. He is a player who brings a lot of knowledge and intelligence to the game, very complete and committed, who contributes with his work in defense and supports rebounding on both sides of the court. In addition, he stands out for his good shooting from the three-point line that he combines with his ability to play and score from positions closer to the rim.

From the club we want our fans to continue enjoying Javi’s triples. We also wish the player luck and success in this renewed challenge, since the future of the team in the competition will surely be closely linked to his performance on an individual level and as a cohesive group and leadership capacity.
