The selection of trainer Alfred Schreuder returned from the training camp in Bramberg am Wildkogel on Saturday. Preparation for the new season continued on Monday in Amsterdam. Newcomer Conceição trained for the first time on Amsterdam soil and got to know his teammates on the field.

The Ajax players entered the training field with smiling faces, asset Conceição was accompanied by Antony and Edson Álvarez. After an extensive warm-up, a sprint exercise followed where players had to run to different colors.

On the other side of the field, the goalkeepers were taken care of by goalkeeper coach Anton Scheutjens. An exercise with jumping, diving and shooting caused a lot of sweat at the closing posts in Amsterdam. After the field was sprayed and the players had a drink, the selection continued with a playmaking and a tactical form in two groups. The delicate Conceição made an eager and fierce impression. Finally, a few party forms were concluded.

The winger was satisfied after his first practice session. “Yeah, good first workout.” The Portuguese could be found a lot with Antony. “We speak the same language so that’s handy.”

On Tuesday evening Ajax will play an exhibition game with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The match starts at 8:00 PM. It is the last game for Schreuder’s team in preparation for the new season that starts on Saturday with the battle for the Johan Cruijff Scale against PSV.
