Highlights Indonesian Men’s Singles Player, Lin Dan: He Has Big Capital To Be A Big Player In The Future

HALOYOUTH – Lin Dan is the greatest Chinese former professional badminton player of all time.

Lin Dan has been a two-time Olympic champion, five-time world champion and six-time All England champion.

Widely considered the greatest badminton player of all time, at the age of 28 Lin has completed the “Super Grand Slam”

That was after Lin Dan won what some would consider the nine major titles in the badminton world.

The main titles in question, namely the Olympics, World Championships, World Cup, Thomas Cup, Sudirman Cup, Super Series Masters Final, All England Open, Asian Games, and Asian Championships, became the first and only player to achieve this feat.

Lin Dan also became the first men’s singles player to defend an Olympic gold medal by winning in 2008 and successfully defending his title in 2012.

In 2004, he was nicknamed “Super Dan” by his opponent Peter Gade after winning the All England Open final, and since then the nickname has been widely used by his fans and the media to refer to him, in recognition of his achievements.
