HALOYOUTH – Lin Dan is the greatest Chinese former professional badminton player of all time.

Lin Dan has been a two-time Olympic champion, five-time world champion and six-time All England champion.

Widely considered the greatest badminton player of all time, at the age of 28 Lin has completed the “Super Grand Slam”

That was after Lin Dan won what some would consider the nine major titles in the badminton world.

Lin Dan also became the first men’s singles player to defend an Olympic gold medal by winning in 2008 and successfully defending his title in 2012.

In 2004, he was nicknamed “Super Dan” by his opponent Peter Gade after winning the All England Open final, and since then the nickname has been widely used by his fans and the media to refer to him, in recognition of his achievements.
