According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Harden has signed a two-year contract, but will have an option to stay with the club in the second year. For the first season, the amount of the contract is 33 million US dollars, while in the second season the basketball player could receive 35.6 million US dollars.

Less than a month ago, Harden turned down the opportunity to represent the “76ers” next season, receiving $47.4 million per season.

Harden joined Philadelphia in February after being traded from the Brooklyn Nets. He played 21 games for the 76ers, averaging 21 points, 7.1 rebounds and 10.5 assists.

Last season, the 76ers took fourth place in the Eastern Conference in the regular season, but in the playoffs, the Philadelphia team defeated the Miami Heat 2-4 in the second round.
