Over the weekend, the judokas from the Centro Integral de Judo Alfredo Acosta in San Francisco participated in the eleventh edition of the Venado Tuerto Cup, where they achieved a total of nine podium finishes.
In total there were eleven competitors from the San Francisco institution that participated in the event held in the city of Venado Tuerto, province of Santa Fe. The representatives of Cijaa had a great performance in the competitive categories.
It should be noted that of the eleven judokas, the nine who represented in competitive categories achieved podiums. The other two were in the School category, which is recreational in nature.
Andrés Acosta in Junior up to 81 kg and Piuque Savid Cozzi in Infantil B up to 57 kg won the gold medal. In second place, Facundo Viroglio finished in children B up to 53 kg, Trinidad Ribodino in Children A up to 52 kg, Julieta Taborda in Children A over 52 kg and Agustina Almada in kiu novices up to 64 kg. The third place on the podium was obtained by Florencia Dundo in Children B up to 53 kg, Mateo Cortecini in Children B up to 58 kg and Agustín Acosta in Senior up to 81 kg.
It should be noted that the girls Camila and Emilia Taborda were the ones who participated in the school meeting in this same edition.
