Today on the archery range of San Bartolomeo al Mare took place the fortieth edition of the Trofeo del Sole, a target archery competition, valid for qualification for the Italian plate championships and the Italian bare bow cup. Federal councilor Enrico Rebagliati and municipal councilor Antonello Martini were present at the event.
The race took place with a good number of participants, on a beautiful and cheerful sunny day. The San Bartolomeo archers performed well and achieved good results. In the Olympic division among the masters third place for Cesare Argento, fifth place in the students for Valeria Prette who improves her personal record by over 60 points. Among the boys first place for Alessio Cioria and in the very young second place for Simone Tengo, who also improves his personal best by 60 points.
Let’s move on to the compound division, first master place for Dario Cosentino, third place for Vittorio Pasqualotto and fourth for Beppe Capalbo. In the naked arc first senior place for Lucia Lenzi. In the masters first place for Cesare Prette, second for Maurizio Gabrielli, fourth for Davide Piana. The master compound and barebow teams arrive on the top step of the podium.
On the same field, on 7 August, the Gialloblù archers will organize the San Lorenzo Trophy.
