Frustrated Viktor Axelsen slipped in the semifinals

The two combatants played really good badminton and had several long duels. Viktor Axelsen came back on lap height, but Ginting had the margins with him and won the first set.

Viktor Axelsen came out differently convincingly for the second set. Lightning fast he was ahead 4-0 and he seemed like there was some frustration to be played out of the body.

The Dane held on and forced the match into a third set.

In the third set, Anthony Ginting was back in the lead. He was always a small step ahead, and Viktor Axelsen made some mistakes that he otherwise rarely makes.

But Ginting began to take chances, and with four points in a row, Viktor Axelsen came ahead 11-10. Then Viktor Axelsen came over to the advantageous side of the net, and then there was absolutely no doubt about the outcome.
