From Calorguen to Mexico, little Miss has everything to be great

During the first edition of the Tour de Rance in Calorguen, the idea started as a joke. To be like the “big boys” of the Tour de France and other well-known cycling events, the organizers invited two friends, Liza and Marine, to be local ambassadors for the event.

Presence in the stands, delivery of bouquets, throwing of sweets… The young couple simply fulfilled their role well. Especially since for Liza Roullé, the scene is not impressive. Since the age of fifteen, the young woman has been a photo model for fun.

An impeccable course!

Shortly after this local event, intoxicated by that desire to break with certain patterns of female representation, the teenager took the opportunity to run for the departmental elections of the little Misses, that is, women under 1.70 m. Bank, Dinnaise is on the top step of the podium. The Costa Rican scarf around her neck, heading to the regional event a few months later in 2018. Liza is crowned Miss Little Brittany. Her happy journey does not end there. Her national election opens her arms to him. The young woman becomes Miss petite France in the same year.

So Covid invites himself to the course. The international competition in which he must participate in Mexico is changed. Postponed to October 2021. There, on the other side of the Atlantic, a few months ago, among the 20 candidates who were contesting this international election, the hostess from Calorguen won her supreme title.

Living with your complexes

Far from the clichés of the woman object that Liza refutes, the 24-year-old, in professional requalification in the social environment, believes that these contests have given her a lot “it was a real job for me”, she admits, ” Many times it is difficult accept you as you are But this committee gave me that, self-confidence, and allowed me to overcome all my complexes.” Beauty is not always where you think it is, “what makes us beautiful is accepting ourselves as we are”, says the little Miss with a strong character. “I learned to be useful, to be confident. A great opportunity also on a professional level”, she continues.

In addition to these Miss International missions, Liza takes the reins of the national committee to allow young people like them “to have the opportunity to live this incredible human adventure.”

Because Liza, in her role as Miss Petite Universe but also as a local, will be present at the 2022 edition of the Tour de Rance. Certainly the little miss has everything of a big one!
