Football: the Dembélé festival with Barça against Juve

Ousmane Dembélé is in good shape. And he shows it. During the friendly match between FC Barcelona and Juventus Turin, played this Tuesday in Dallas, the Blues striker scored twice. The two cadors of European football left back to back (2-2) with another double on the Italian side, that of Moise Kean, the former Parisian.

The French winger, who has just returned for two seasons in Spain, opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 34th minute after dribbling past Juan Cuadrado and Sandro, and before beating Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny from a tight angle.

Barely five minutes later, Juventus responded: on a precise cross from Colombian winger Cuadrado, Kean beat Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Barça’s Dutch goalkeeper.

Before being replaced at the break by Raphinha, the Catalan club’s new Brazilian recruit from Leeds, Dembélé doubled the lead by taking advantage of the wanderings of the Juve defense. Back from the locker room, Kean equalized. Barcelona then find the uprights twice through Raphinha and then Ansu Fati, without success.

Barcelona’s latest signing, Pole Robert Lewandowski, on the other hand, struggled to gain respect. The former Bayern Munich star striker was substituted midway through the second half.
