The Mexican basketball player Gael Bonilla expressed his desire to continue growing in professional basketball, a discipline that led him to live in Europe where he currently plays for Barcelona.
Bonilla Silva pointed out through the entity’s Department of Physical Culture and Sports that for five years everything in his career has been a process of adaptation, work and sacrifices to be able to fulfill his dreams.
“My present is in Europe, next season I’m going to play there and it depends on how I do it, I want to put my name in the NBA draft next year or two and I’m going to work very hard to get it,” said the athlete. born in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, speaking of the goals he has set for his immediate future.
In this sense, Gael also anticipated the dependency that he will seek to obtain a European passport, which will be one more step in his sports career and which will help him not to occupy a place as a foreign player.
The man from Mexico celebrated his fifth year in Iberian basketball where he has already won two titles in the U17 and U18 categories, within the Interleague.
At 19 years old, Sandoval also achieved his dream of reaching the national team, where he has already become a regular player in the team led by coach Omar Quintero.
