FC Twente Women says goodbye to Kerstin Casparij. The 21-year-old defender makes the switch to Manchester City after two seasons with the Tukkers.
The transfer brings pride to FC Twente Women. “Kerstin has developed fantastically into an Orange international at FC Twente over the past two years. After winning three prizes, she is now making the switch to the English top”, technical manager René Roord responds to the club website.
“I am proud that she can take this step, this is what we do it all for. We wish Kerstin a lot of success in the rest of her career,” said Roord. While employed by FC Twente Women, Casparij won the national title twice and the Eredivisie Cup once.
