In the morning session on the third day of the World Athletics Championships, a lot of Belgians got into action. Kevin and Dylan Borlée and Alexander Doom qualified for the semifinals in the 400m, Isaac Kimeli impressed in the 10km.

Belgian men do well at 400m
The Belgians are gradually coming loose at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene. The morning session started well with the men in the 400 meters. Kevin and Dylan Borlée and Alexander Doom managed to qualify for the semi-finals.
Camille Laus and Naomi Van den Broeck had a rough time with the women, they both got stuck in the back ranks and have already been eliminated.

Impressive Kimeli with 10th place at 10 kilometers
On the 10 kilometers we had an exciting race in which Cheptegei eventually came out on top. Isaac Kimeli also impressed in the background.
In the last laps of the race he remained at the forefront of the group, but under the pounding of the Ugandans and Ethiopians he still cracked.
Kimeli kept fighting for what he was worth and eventually finished strong in 10th. A great achievement.
