The Linense Basketball Union (ULB) announced this Sunday the renewal of Hugo Tavío from Algeciras. The forward trained in the lower categories of CBC Algeciras endorses his commitment to the La Línea team for the fourth season and will once again be one of Jesús Guti’s pupils for the new project in the League EBA.
Hugo Tavio, of 25 years y 195 centimeters, ended up in the ULB after playing with CB La Zubia, from Granada. The forward from Algeciras “is a player who is characterized by his great success in the outside shot, especially in the three-point shot, being one of the players with the best percentage in the category,” highlights the entity.
“Despite the last two years marked by injuries, we know that Hugo he is a fundamental piece for the team and a player who can win a game in the last minutessince his pulse does not tremble at important moments”, values the ULB.
The La Línea club maintains that “Hugo is eager to face this new season and to be able to play everything that the injuries have not allowed him“. Jesús Gutiérrez is sure that “he will be a very important and decisive player in the most difficult moments”.
