DIRECT. Tour de France: Pogacar, Gaudu and Bardet caught in a fall, follow the 8th stage between Dole and Lausanne

Mattia Cattaneo, Frederik Frison and Fred Wright begin the ascent of the Côte des Rousses (6.7km at 5%). They are still 2’16” ahead of the peloton.

161st in the general classification, the Italian from the Astana team has left the route of the Tour de France.

Cattaneo, Wright and Frison are part of the breakaway of the day and are 3′ ahead of the peloton.

The leading group has a margin of 3’10” over the peloton.

David Gaudu, Tadej Pogacar and Romain Bardet were victims of a fall. The yellow jersey quickly found the peloton.
