David Ospina was presented by his new team | THE UNIVERSAL

It’s official. David Ospina, goalkeeper of the Colombian National Team, will play this season for Al-Nassr, a team in the first division of Saudi Arabia. Ospina, who is 33 years old, signed a two-year contract, with an option to renew until 2025. It will be his first experience in Asian soccer, after spells in France, England and Italy. His last club was Napoli, where he achieved outstanding performances.

He debuted in professional football with Atlético Nacional, then went to Nice in France, then Arsenal in England. His last years were at Naples in Italy. With the Colombian National Team he played in the World Cups in Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers in Colombia in its entire history.
