David Brembly arrives at the JDA Dijon Basket for a season. After the arrivals of Jonathan Rousselle, Gregor Hrovat and Markis McDuffie, Jeanne is betting on this 29-year-old winger to strengthen his defense.
Brembly (1.98m) has dual German and Polish nationality, and will be the club’s latest signing this summer. He previously played in the Polish and German first divisions before leaving for the VTB League (championship bringing together several clubs from Eastern Europe).
A strong player defensively
A final recruitment that particularly satisfies Fabien Romeyersports director of the JDA: “We wanted a player with real defensive sizing, especially in duels. In addition, on the defense without the ball, he has real energy, he covers a lot of space and responds to defensive assists. The second quality sought was skill in outside shooting. Wherever David went, he was spot on in this area. Finally, his ability to shift to position 4 could be invaluable at certain times of the season.“
