Cristina Cabaña has won the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games that are being held in Oran. The Extremaduran judoka qualified for the final in the -63 kilogram category, where she lost to Laura Fazliu, a native of Kosovo and the current European runner-up. The woman from Mérida was the only athlete from Extremadura in these Mediterranean Games and she leaves with a good taste in her mouth after winning the medal.
