Constant Lestienne in the Segovia Challenger final, not Ugo Humbert

The good series continues for Constant Lestienne, qualified for the final of the Challenger of Segovia after his victory over Michael Geerts (2-6, 7-5, 7-6 [4]) this Saturday. This is the third time that the Frenchman has made it to the final of a Challenger this season. He had won the first two in Malaga and Pozoblanco.

A string of good results that will allow him to become the 81st Frenchman to join the Top 100 on Monday (between 84th and 90th place). Bothered by a sore arm since Friday, Lestienne is “gone to the box” to get rid of the Belgian as his coach Julien Varlet likes to say. And here he is in the race for a 3rd title.

A 100% French final

Lestienne will not play this final against his great friend Ugo Humbert, but against another Frenchman, Hugo Grenier. Came to rebuild his morale in Spain, Humbert showed on this match that he had not yet chased all his demons since he was leading 7-6 [5]4-3 serve to follow, before blocking and bowing (6-7 [5]7-5, 6-2).
