Cabrera returns to the MLB All-Star Game after 6 years

Caracas.- The Major Leagues once again extended the invitation to Miguel Cabrera from Aragon, to be one of the protagonists, for the twelfth time, of the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game.

The Creole, future Hall of Fame, will be one of the 32 stars of the Major Leagues, who will be able to participate in the All-Star Game.

The edition of this year’s American League and National League star clash will take place on Tuesday, July 19 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

And it is precisely this first League, the American League, in which Miggy managed to climb to number nine, as the best bat, with an average of .308. The last time the right-handed hitter achieved an average over .300 was in 2016, the year that coincides with his last participation in the All-Star Game.

The other Latino who was chosen by commissioner Rob Manfred to participate in this edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game is el Dominican Albert Pujols, another of the best right-handed hitters of all time in the Major Leagues.

Pujols and Cabrera are two of only three hitters with 3,000 hits, 500 home runs and 600 doubles in baseball history.
