Bayern Munich: a Frenchman no longer excludes a departure

Benjamin Pavard could see his playing time drastically reduced next season, after the recruitment of Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt and Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui.

According to the journalist Bild Christian Falk, the 26-year-old Frenchman is now seriously considering leaving Bayern Munich, while the former Lille resident has not seemed open to this possibility in recent weeks. The 2018 world champion could open the door to Chelsea, who are looking for an axial for their defense with three centrals. The Blues would seek in particular to compensate for the departures of Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen, the possible transfer of César Azpilicueta and especially the failure on the track Jules Koundé, who finally signed for Barça. Benjamin Pavard could benefit from it.

Manchester United, Juventus and Atlético Madrid are also on the lookout for the Frenchman, under contract until 2024.
