Cologne (SID) – Telekom Baskets Bonn have signed Sebastian Herrera from league rivals EWE Baskets Oldenburg. As the Bundesliga basketball club announced on Sunday, the Chilean international signed a one-year contract. “He’s a game designer, has a high basketball IQ and can throw,” said Bonn’s successful coach Tuomas Iisalo.
The guard, who also has a German passport, played under Iisalo in Crailsheim from 2017 to 2020 and celebrated promotion to the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) with him in 2018. The 24-year-old Herrera is currently taking part in the World Cup qualifier with the Chilean national team.
