The Judo Grand Prix continues in Zagreb, Croatia.
According to AZERTAC, one of the Azerbaijani judokas, Yashar Najafov, successfully performed on the first day of the tournament. The athlete, who works in the 66 kg weight category, won the gold medal of the Grand Prix tournament, after defeating his Italian rival Matteo Piras in the final.
More than 500 athletes from 69 countries participate in this three-day event. Azerbaijan is represented in the tournament by 14 judokas.
