Ax throwing, just like in Canada

If the Pyrenees make you think of the Canadian Rockies. If you like original activities that respect nature. If you want to challenge yourself with family or friends in a sporty and good mood, the Attak Park is a must.

In a shady setting, between Bourisp and Saint-Lary, Michaël and Virginie have created a place where young and old have a great time, putting their skills, technique and even tactical sense to the test. Between archery, large wooden games workshops, thrilling cabin, Archery Tag area or Fort Boyard type challenges, there is something for everyone.

This summer, the main activity is throwing axes and knives. We have all seen these competitions so popular in Canada, the United States or Australia. Activity during which strong fellows compete in technicality and precision. Here at Park Attak, everything is like with the pros but suitable for everyone. Real axes of different sizes depending on the morphology of each, 4 corridors separated by wooden walls, a target at the bottom and all in a secure area. Once you understand the technique, you quickly take a liking to this unusual exercise. You can then try knife throwing, different sensations but just as fun. For “budding lumberjacks”, suitable equipment with target and foam axes will allow them to have fun like the grown-ups.

Park Attak is open Sunday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
