Aron Baynes back to action in the Australian Championship

A year after his very serious accident at the Tokyo Olympics, which left him hospitalized for very long weeks, Aron Baynes will finally be able to return to the field.

His agent thus confirmed that the pivot would join the Brisbane Bullets, in the Australian championship.

At 35, the former Spurs, Pistons and Celtics player will therefore resume the thread of his career. He hoped to find a place in the NBA, but he did not convince the franchises who had come to see him in Las Vegas.

He therefore signed up for two years in the NBL, but with the option of leaving Australia for the NBA at the end of the next season.

This also seems to be his goal because, courted by European and Chinese clubs which did not allow him to return quickly to the Great League, he thus preferred the Australian option, with a season which ends in February, and could therefore to join an NBA franchise for the end of the campaign.
