At the end of the school year, the archery section of the rural home of Poilhes, has increased to two chicks who shoot at 5 m and five minims who shoot at 10 m, an evaluation which corresponds to a level of skills.
The objective of this level passage is to motivate and advance young people throughout the year. The success criteria related to theoretical aspects concerning safety, the bow, position, warm-up, competitions. The questions were asked individually to the children, between the classic shots of the 10 ends of 3 arrows. The children, according to their age, grouped by level and according to the shooting distance, received a badge which reflects the level reached: a white feather for beginners, a black feather for the 2nd level, a blue feather for those who are at their 3rd level, a red feather for the 4th level or a yellow feather for the 5th level. All these colors are those of the archery target in ascending order.
